Magister Militum

Sempre nell'intento di concludere progetti lasciati a metà eccone un altro finito durante le feste di Natale.

Esercito tardo romano imperiale d'occidente, gli scudi/le unità sono prese dalla lista del "Magister peditum praesentalis" e "Magister Equitum". Avevo già fatto un esercito simile ai tempi del DBA con la lista dei II-78a late romans (west) questo progetto doveva essere per Centuria ed infatti le unità sono ancora così organizzate.

Come sempre la lista dei produttori è varia e ci sono alcune conversioni, ma diciamo che sono: Black Tree, Ebor, Aventine, Gripping Beast, Crusader/Artizan, Warlords, A&A e una unità di fanti anni '90 di cui non ricordo il nome che sarebbe di una linea fantasy ma ci stava bene dipinta nel modo giusto.

In the goal of concluding unfinished projects, here is another one finished during the Christmas holidays.

Late Roman Imperial Army (West), the shields/units taken from the list of the "Magister peditum praesentalis" and  "Magister Equitum". I had already made an army similar years ago for DBA: II-78a late romans (west) this project should fit Centuria rules so the units are so organized.

As always the manufacturers list is varied and there are some conversions, but let's say they are: Black Tree, Ebor, Aventine, Gripping Beast, Crusader / Artizan, Warlords, A&A and a 90's infantry unit whose name I can't remember. they are a fantasy range but it thought that painted in the right way could fit the project.

Gli scudi delle legioni palatine li ho stampati in 3d da un progetto che ho creato con tinkercad.

Ci sono stati diversi test e tentativi di forme, partendo da un'idea di stencil per dipingere progressivamente i colori a zone per arrivare alla decisione di stampare gli scudi e colororarli

I printed the legio palatine's shields in 3d from a project I created with tinkercad.

There have been several tests and attempts of shapes, starting from a stencils to gradually paint the colors in zones to arrive at the decision to print the shields and color them.
